The resource centre (library) is well stocked. It is open before and after school for borrowing. Parents are encouraged to help their children select appropriate reading material for thier child's level and age.
There is an active Student Representative Council (SRC) who meet weekly and discuss school issues. They also fundraise for various charities. The SRC has an executive of President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Liaison Officer made up of Year 6 students.
Moana is a well resourced primary school with excellent facilities.
There is a multi-purpose room used for student meetings, Focus time and visitors. All rooms are airconditioned/heated. There are ramps into all buildings.
There is a large oval. Soccer and football goals are on the oval. There are two outdoor basketball/netball courts on astroturf. There is a hall with basketball, volleyball and badminton courts marked. The hall is also used for whole school assemblies and activities. There is a drama/music room.
All classrooms have interactive whiteboards installed.
Junior primary offers a shared activity centre, computer facilities and withdrawal areas.
Primary classrooms have wet areas and preparations rooms.
The school offers specialist facilities for Japanese, music, physical education (PE) and art.
